The My Aged Care gateway was established in 2013 to help older Australians navigate the aged care system. David Tune's review of My Aged Care in 2017 reported that consumers were either unaware of or unable to readily access this service and ‘not yet experiencing a seamless journey through the system’ (Tune,D 2017).
Unfortunately, today not much has changed and the experiences and care of older people become lost in a system overrun by processes, segmented agencies and a confusing aged care system.
Compelled to bridge that gap and create a better experience for individuals and their families, Ageing Well Sorted was founded in 2019 to provide a service centred wholly on the client's preferences, capacity and needs. We walk with our clients through the end-to-end journey of navigating the aged care system so that they don't have to.
